Overview

The Arizona Water Innovation Initiative Impact Water - Arizona program at Arizona State University, in partnership with the Arizona Institute for Resilience at the University of Arizona and the Babbitt Center for Land and Water Policy at the Lincoln Institute, will collaborate with local leaders to host a series of Rural Groundwater Resilience Workshops.

The focus and scope of the issues that each workshop will address will be defined by the local community to ensure they are relevant to each community’s specific groundwater issues. The program will be intentionally flexible and designed to fill resource gaps. Workshops will be customized and offer expert training on a wide range of groundwater management topics, strategies, tools, data development, and education. The workshops will provide space to engage on relevant, local groundwater issues, and to empower communities to lead solutions towards their own local groundwater challenges.
