Every rural community's groundwater story is unique, but no community has to navigate it alone.
Rural Groundwater Resilience Exchange
The Rural Groundwater Resilience Exchange (RGRx) connects community leaders, water managers, producers, researchers, nonprofits, and agencies exchange ideas, strengthen relationships, and accelerate locally led groundwater resilience across Arizona.
Inspired by Community Needs. Built Through Partnership. The RGRx grew out of Arizona's Rural Groundwater Resilience Workshop Series, where communities identified local groundwater priorities and consistently expressed a desire for continued collaboration beyond a single workshop. Participants wanted opportunities to stay connected, learn from one another, access technical expertise, share resources, and continue advancing the priorities they had identified together.
Developed by the Arizona Water Innovation Initiative in partnership with the Arizona Cross-Watershed Network (AZ XWN), the Exchange provides that ongoing connection—bringing communities together to exchange knowledge, strengthen relationships, and support implementation of locally identified priorities.
